TMSA Triangle Sophomore Selected for Duke University Neuroscience Experience (DUNE)
Dear TMSA Community,
One of our sophomores, M. Sena Golbasi, has been chosen to participate in Duke University Neuroscience Experience (DUNE) for the upcoming summer.
This is a remarkable achievement for Sena, considering that DUNE is an incredibly competitive summer mentorship program. Sena expressed her deep sense of honor and stated "I am truly grateful for this opportunity and eager to contribute positively to the research program while expanding my knowledge."
DUNE pairs high school students like Sena with graduate students and postdoctoral researchers. It offers a unique hands-on research experience and comprehensive professional development training, taking place five days a week. At the culmination of the program, participants showcase their research findings during an end-of-program poster session.
I want to congratulate Sena for this remarkable achievement. We eagerly anticipate hearing more about her enriching experience at DUNE.
Keep up the good work, Sena!
