Dear TMSA Triangle HS Community,

Please allow me to share some fantastic news with you!

One of our sophomores Joseph Paul Szeto has been accepted into the highly competitive Summer Ventures in Science and Math Program, which will take place at Appalachian State University this year.

It is a remarkable achievement and shows JP's exceptional academic ability and dedication.

In JP's words, "It is a great opportunity, and I will make sure to take full advantage of it." I am confident that JP will thrive in this program and continue to excel in his future academic pursuits.

The Summer Ventures Program, created by the NC General Assembly in 1984 and coordinated by the North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics in Durham, is designed to provide academically motivated high school students with a cost-free enrichment program and resident experiences on NC university campuses. This program is an incredible opportunity for students who are interested in pursuing a career in science or mathematics.

JP will have the chance to experience his first taste of college life at Appalachian State University, and I know he will make the most of this experience.

Congratulations, JP, on this remarkable achievement, and I wish you all the best.

Principal Alden
