TMSA Triangle’s junior Ayushi Goyal has been accepted into the 2023 session of the prestigious North Carolina Governor’s School, making her the second TMSA student to receive this honor.
“I was overjoyed and couldn't believe it at first,” Ayushi shared. “Governor’s School is such a huge opportunity, and I am grateful to all my teachers and counselors for their support in making this happen.”
During her stay in the program, Ayushi will study English.
“It is a remarkable achievement for Ayushi to be selected to study English at the Governor's School," said TMSA Triangle High School Principal Adam Alden. "Her selection is a true testament to the rigorous and well-rounded nature of our STEAM curriculum that empowers Arts and Humanities along with Math and Science."
TMSA Triangle became a STEAM school last year, and Ayushi's achievement is a clear indication of the success of the school's commitment to providing a well-rounded education that incorporates all fields of study.
Since its establishment in 2012, TMSA Triangle has been regarded as one of the best STEM high schools in North Carolina. Ayushi's selection at the Governor's School is a testament to its continued excellence.
Governor's School is the oldest statewide summer residential program for gifted high school students in the United States. The highly competitive program attracts academically and intellectually gifted students of the state. Ayushi's selection is a source of pride for the TMSA Triangle community.
We're thrilled about Ayushi's success and wish her all the best for a rewarding experience at the North Carolina Governor's School.
Congratulations, Ayushi!
