Welcome to Triangle Math and Science Academy!

Triangle Math and Science Academy is a tuition-free public charter school focusing on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) in Cary, North Carolina. We serve more than 900 students from kindergarten through 12th grade on our campus.

Triangle was established in 2012 by a group of public charter school advocates who supported effective, diverse, and well-funded public charter schools in North Carolina.

We are lifelong learners with big hearts. As our motto “Scientia - Sapientia - Pax” signifies in Latin, we seek knowledge, pursue wisdom, and foster peace in all we do. Our robust academic program and character education develop students' skills to live in harmony with themselves, with others, and with the natural environment.

Triangle is a top-performing "A" level school since the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction started to report school performance grades in 2013-2014. We are recognized by Niche as a one of the top ten charter high school in the state for the last two years. We are committed to providing an exceptional education a safe, nurturing, and culturally responsive learning environment supported by a strong parent, school, and community partnership.

Triangle is a part of TMSA Public Charter Schools, along with Greensboro's Triad Math and Science Academy and Charlotte's Queen City STEM School.

Welcome to Triangle!
