TMSA Triangle junior Alex Rhodes has been selected to compete in the 5th International History Olympiad, which will be held in Rome this year.
"I have always been fascinated by History and Geography. It is a great honor to represent TMSA at the national and international level. I am humbled to compete against the best and brightest students in the world this year," said Alex in gratitude and excitement. He has been competing in History and Geography competitions since 2019. "I hope to represent TMSA with integrity and pride."
The International History Olympiad is a prestigious event attended by the best young history students from around the world, featuring a variety of competitions, field trips, and social activities.
"I am proud of you," said TMSA Triangle High School Principal Adam Alden congratulating Alex on his achievement. "Alex's selection is also a testament to our school's focus on empowering Arts and Humanities education to teach STEM curriculum better."
TMSA Triangle recently expanded its Arts and Humanities program to become a STEAM school, emphasizing the importance of Arts and Humanities in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics education.
