DECA:

TMSA DECA competed at the NC DECA State Conference last weekend.

  • Neha Srinivasa elected 2022-2023 NC DECA State President,
  •  Aafia Khazi elected 2022-2023 NC DECA Triad Vice President,
  •  Rodney Smith recognized 2022 DECA Kenneth W. Smith Award for Professional Dedication.

TMSA DECA also received chapter awards:

Science Olympiads:

Triangle’s Science Olympiad Team brought home many medals at the last week’s invitationals.

Cornell Invitational:

  •  1st place in Chemistry Lab: Noah Sheinbaum & Kashika Chaudhary
  •  3rd place in Anatomy and Physiology: Aryan Kokkanti & Kashika Chaudhary
  • 3rd place in Gravity Vehicle: Nitesh Kanamarlapudi

Brown Invitational:

  • 2nd place in experimental design: Anika Moolan, Trisha Deepak, Prahalad Sinivasan

NC Raleigh Regional:

 Varsity team

  •  2nd place in Rocks and Minerals: Anika Moolan & Aryan Kokkanti
  • 3rd place in Chemistry Lab: Noah Sheinbaum & Kashika Chaudhary
  • 3rd place in Gravity Vehicle: Nitesh Kanamarlapudi
  • 3rd place in Trajectory: Nitesh Kanamarlapudi & Aaditya Mishra

JV team

  • 1st place in Fast Facts: Eric Wu & Hruday Yerramareddy
    2nd place in Gravity Vehicle: Benjamin Pokroy & Paarth Patel
  • 2nd place in Mystery Architecture: Paarth Patel & Eric Wu
  • 2nd place in Picture This: Asmi Patro, Liam Pokroy & Shreyas Menon

Math AMC Competition:

Eric Wu and Noah Shienbaum were both qualified for AIME (American Invitational Mathematics Examinations). After a long journey, Eric and Noah got high scores on the AMC 10/12 tests in November. They are working on their way to the next levels. We hope both will qualify for United States of America Mathematical Olympiad USAMO.
