Hello TMSA Family,
Last Saturday’s program, A Living Mosaic of Cultures and Languages in North Carolina, was amazing! It was inspiring to see so many demonstrations of talent from various cultures around the world. Our students are so talented. It was also great to have our three schools all come together. I’m sorry if you missed it, but we hope to make this an annual event. Be sure to catch it next year.
Many of our students have been taking their third round of MAP tests this week; others will take them next week. I know this can be a stressful time for students. Everyone has been working hard to finish out the school year strong. Encourage your children to simply do their best.
I feel very lucky to be at TMSA, an environment where top quality teaching and learning takes place every day. I’m amazed when I see 2nd grade students brilliantly planning their projects, or when I see High School students doing dissections as though they were in a hospital lab environment. Whenever I pass by a classroom and hear curious students asking questions or an enthusiastic teacher pouring down their knowledge into the blossoming young children’s minds, it reminds me of a garden. I can almost smell the beautiful fragrance of the learning process taking place in our classrooms. There are extremely creative and interesting things going on around our school!
There are only 33 days of school remaining in this school year. Let’s try to keep our motivation high until the very end!
Your principal, Mr. Kara
