Math League Middle School 2016 Results

We are proud to announce the results of the Math League contests. Our 6-8 grade students participated in Math League contest in February. 

Our school placed one of the top places by sum of the best 5 scores in each grade level. Here are the scores of our school and students:

6th Grade:

Overall Standing (21 States): Triangle Math and Science Academy placed 1st among 27 schools. Kenan H. placed 1st, Nitin C. placed 3rd, Armaan P. and Aiden R. placed 12th, Drew K. placed 17th. overall. 

Regional Standing (NC-SC-TN States): TMSA placed 1st. Kenan H. placed 1st, Nitin C. placed 2nd, Armaan P. and Aiden R. placed 4th

7th Grade: 

Overall Standing (21 States): Triangle Math and Science Academy placed 3rd among 26 schools. Ruhie R. placed 7th, Eric Z. placed 12th, Eiha P and Jai S. placed 15th, Snehil M. placed 18th.

Regional Standing (NC-SC-TN States): TMSA placed 1st. Ruhie R. placed 1st, Eric Z. placed 2nd, Eiha P and Jai S. placed 3rd.

8th Grade: 

Overall Standing (21 States): Triangle Math and Science Academy placed 4th among 22 schools. Forrest L. placed 10th, Philip L. placed 14th, Raviteja A. placed 26th, Kabeer K. placed 31st.

Regional Standing (NC-SC-TN States): TMSA placed 1st. Forrest L. placed 2nd, Philip L. placed 3rd, Raviteja A. placed 4th.

Purpose of the Mathematics League is give math contests to students an educationally enriching opportunity to participate in an academically-oriented activity and to gain recognition for mathematical achievement. The main goal is educational. Promoting enjoyment and studying of mathematics by organizing contests for grades 4-12. These contests help to enrich mathematics programs. Each contest covers topics appropriate to the contest grade level. The key is to encourage students to enjoy a challenge and to learn from it to find problem-solving discussions stimulating.
