HS Spanish Club Guacamole Lesson

Spanish Club meets every second and fourth Thursday in room 148. This week, however, we took over the teachers' lounge for a culinary treat. 

At our last meeting, the High School Spanish club got chopping, slicing and dicing to make some delicious guacamole. For some students it was their first time chopping an onion and they didn't even cry! The ingredients for one batch of fresh guacamole are: 2 ripe Hass avocados mashed, 1 chopped onion, 2 tomatoes, diced, juice of half a lime, 1 tsp salt, chopped fresh cilantro and finely diced jalapeño to taste. The students enjoyed the results with some tortilla chips and mexican refrescos (sodas) ¡Qúe rico!
