Museum of Life and Science

Second graders visited the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, NC.

The museum has many fun and interactive exhibits that align with 2nd grade science standards.  Standards include learning about the weather and animal life cycles, both of which we got to explore at the museum.  We were able to view wolves, lemurs, and bears, and interact with butterflies.  Students were able to explore wind, water, and clouds, build and test flying objects, perform a science experiment in a lab, and many more fun activites.  We all had a great time, and offer many thanks to the parents and grandparents who chaperoned with us!
