Algebra: Angry Birds Paroject

My students and I have been having more fun since I created Angry Birds Project.

Each student was assigned four birds. Each bird came with its own data. They came with a graph, a table, coordinate points, and a quadratic equation. Students had to determine which bird flew the highest and traveled the longest distance.

The purpose of this activity to find the vertex and the roots of the equations. There were pigs in the mix so they had to determine which birds hit the pigs. The project had five different version so students had different data. Some of my students had presentations, some of them made  fabulous videos. All of my students has done a great job.
