Principal's Corner

Greetings Tigers,

I am very excited to inform you that the remaining part of phase one passed all the inspections today. Even though, there will be a delay with the main gate, we will be able to use the classrooms and the cafeteria.

On November 16, we are going to have our first parent-teacher conference. Our doors will be open from 8:00am to 4:30pm. There will be a lunch break for the staff from 12:00pm to 1:00pm. Please come and meet with your child’s teacher.

We received the EOG scores last week.  TMSA met 100% of the Federal and State targets with 72.6% overall proficiency. We just received all the individual EOG scores this week. We are analyzing the outcomes and will come up with additional interventions to help students at risk.

TMSA Governing Board Meeting is postponed to November 23.

The issue of bullying has also become a hot topic of conversation in the school safety field and we at TMSA take it very seriously. In order to increase the awareness among students and teachers, we will have four presentations on November 20th from a nationally well-known anti-bullying presenter on how to avoid/handle such cases on school grounds.

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Necmettin Yasar, Assistant Principal
