Making the Most of Your High School Years

On March 16th, TMSA hosted an event for the area rising 9th grade students and parents. They were presented with information about the role of 9th grade in the scheme of their high school career. Ms. Elizabeth Alexieff, a freshman academic advisor from NC State, followed this presentation with a talk about the characteristics of a successful college freshman and how to spend your high school years preparing for that eventual transition. Both speakers stressed the need for 9th graders to begin developing solid organizational and time management skills in order to be at the top of their game.
